Lochmara Café
Lochmara Cafe is a fully licensed café and restaurant. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch, and then dinner from 6pm, with a snack menu running between 3pm and 6pm only. We don't take bookings for breakfast or lunch, it is a first in first serve basis unless you have booked a function with us well in advance.
Please note booking reservations are required for dinner. There are no cooking facilities available at Lochmara. All in-house guests are fully catered for at our licensed café and restaurant.
The cuisine is based on seasonal Marlborough flavours, reflecting the regional specialties from sea and land. Our menus emphasise sustainability and where possible our meat and seafood are organic or local, and fresh produce is sourced locally and seasonally. Our drinks menu showcases wines from Marlborough and throughout New Zealand, as well as boutique craft beers. We have a reputation for the best coffee in the Sounds, and there is fresh baking from our kitchen for morning and afternoon tea.
In the cooler Autumn and Spring months we have the log fire going in the evenings to add to the already ambient experience that is Lochmara.
